.... where's my Mountain Dew at.....
Anywho, I have a busty next couple weekends but they should all be awesome. Part of the reason for my 19 hour day today is that I am working at the newspaper from 8-5, then at CVS from 6-9, then driving to Wood-Ridge NJ where I am going to crash at my friend Mike's house before catching a 10:45 am train into NYC to spend the weekend with Jeff. Yes, I FINALLY got off my lazy ass and made plans to get into New York and see Mr. Soirefman. He's been trying to get me down there since he moved out of Middletown... which was a couple months before I moved out... so it's been a few years. I last saw him at our shin-dig with all the buds at Mt. Airy back in Dec; that reminded me just how much I miss hanging out with him and the guys. So, I'll be in NYC until sometime Sunday afternoon when I'll be catching the train back to Wood-Ridge and then hoofing it back to Hershey.
The weekend of the 16th-17th, Lorna and I will be driving to the north country to attend my cousin Andrew's graduation from Ithaca. He's getting some big fancy Music degree that he hopes will get him into conducting for a major orchestra. Good luck with that, bud. You certainly have the skills and aspirations to make it happen. Don't let the fact that Yale turned you down for the graduate work hurt you! You'll make it! The graduation is on Sunday I believe, so we'll probably hang around with the family on Saturday. There's still snow on the ground in Ithaca right? lol.
The following two weekends after that I have no plans to go anywhere. I will be hold-up in the garage trying to get my car finished up for the All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle; that's June 5-7. I can't wait for that to get here. One of the biggest car shows in the US and it happens right here, 5 minutes from where I work. Alot of guys from my car club will be attending; at last count we have 38 members of Focaljet and FocusFanatics registered. I haven't seen some of these guys since the first year I attended back in 2007, one thing is for certain; it'll be a blast!
